Following up from my previous post with Witless Bay/Bay Bulls in the community spotlight, I'd like to have a separate space to explain the current market in the area right now.


It's no secret we have had a slow down in our market in recent years, and these southern shore towns sure felt it as well with the slow down of jobs within the oil industry. Prices topped out just a few years ago and it was a slow transition to get list price back down to where it needed to be to attract buyers.


It certainly is a buyers market and there are some great homes listed right now for great prices.

There are currently 35 Active listings between Bay Bulls - Mobile. Ranging from prices of $139,900 - $899,900 with an average price of $328,069.


There are 3 conditional sales waiting too close.


& there have been 12 sold homes since end of February of 2019. Sale prices range from $75,000-$398,000. Just this past week there have been 3 closings, sale prices were $282,500, $370,000, & $385,000. A great sign to see some movement in our market.
